Food & Drink

Dining at Y Ffarmers

Y Ffarmers is open for food from 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

We also open for lunch on Saturday, serving food 12-2, closing at 3pm.

We only open on Sunday at lunchtime, serving a traditional Sunday Roast dinner from 12-3pm.

We’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays (but are happy to have a chat if you would like to bring a large party here outside our usual opening hours).

We offer good quality food, all of which is homemade by us on the premises – our breads, ice creams, sauces… We use local and seasonal produce wherever possible.

We happily cater for all dietary requirements, (please get in touch if you have any specific requirements) and always have gluten free and vegan options available.

Our menu changes regularly but some favourites are always there including a Welsh Sirloin Steak, Homemade Veggie Burger and Fish & Chips.

If you’re making a special trip to get here, it’s a good idea to ring and check we’ve got a table as we do get very busy.

Our menus give you a good idea of what we do but if you want to check the latest versions, give us a call on 01974 261275.

Drink

Y Ffarmers is a free house, so we are able to offer drinks which we know our customers will enjoy. We have extensive knowledge on Real Ales, Ciders, Craft Beers, Craft Spirits and Wines.

We try to keep our suppliers as local as possible and we don’t have to travel too far to find good local breweries and distilleries.

We frequently offer Real Ales from the award winning Mantle Brewery in Cardigan, Gin from Dyfi Distillery in Machynlleth, as well as Dà Mhìle Gin in Llandysul.

Our wine list is curated by Alastair from Lush Wines in Pembrokeshire.
